Yes, I think we need to drive traffic to the wiki instead of to the stub site that is up now; I wanted to get the wiki a bit more presentable before doing so, but I'm pretty sure that Chet would be willing to repoint the domain name of agileskillsproject.com directly to the wiki if we asked.  We could do a third-level domain like discuss.agileskillsproject.com maybe for the discussion group.  The things I don't know about are how seamless that would integrate for google sites.  For me, all this is in the scope of the backlog task "find an easy way to sync/publish to agileskillsproject.com or from there link to here".
